My name is Thomas Dvorak and I was diagnosed with psoriasis when I was just 6 years old. According to the National Institutes of Health, more than 8 million Americans have psoriasis. Psoriasis made my whole life change. I felt so bad about having to quit some of my sports because of my skin problem. I really want to find a cure, and I will keep working to raise awareness and funds for the research needed to get that goal.
I am asking you to help me make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease. I am now fourteen years old, and have spent more than half my life as a Youth Ambassador for the NPF - that means I want to get the word out and help people understand my disease! On Saturday, May 11, 2019, I will once again lead my team, Psoriasis Busters!, at the Team NPF NJ Cycle Ride which will take place at the Unionville Vineyards in Ringoes. Please consider joining and/or supporting my team, Psoriasis Busters!, and help make a difference in the lives of people just like me, who have psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.
