Meet Judy Pollack - 2016 Walk Chair - Hello Friends -I am reaching out to you for your donation to the Naperville Walk to Cure Psoriasis. For those of you who have not heard my story, I have had psoriasis for almost three decades now. My closest friends and my family, have witnessed my journey of this life of living with psoriasis with such loving and compassionate support. It's a life of dressing "creatively" to hide my psoriasis and recentls having to stay home from fun events because of joint pain due to newly diagnosed psoriatic arthritis. I have never been one to define myself by my psoriasis, and alot of people may not have ever known I have had it for such a long period of time. I worked in a career with such beautiful women and men, that when I was "flaring" I have never felt good looking on the outside and have had to rely on my inner self to shine and not feel sorry for myself. With the continuing stride of psoriatic research on the horizon, I am hoping that in my lifetime, there will be a cure. A cure for the many children I have met with psoriasis. For my incredible son who was diagnosed with psoriasis, and our youth diagnosed with psoriasis, I hope for a better tomorrow for them. Please consider not only donating but joining me and others from your area on Sunday, October 2nd at the Grand Pavilion in Naperville
Hi, my name is Sidney and I am 8 years old. I have had psoriasis since I was born. I sometimes wonder why I have my "owies" and other kids don't but I know that millions of people around the country struggle with this disease too. I'm walking in my first fundraiser to end psoriatic disease this November. Please support my dream of a life free of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis by making a donation today by clicking here http://npf.donordrive.com/team/Sidney2016 to make a donation to my team.
