My name is Melanee and I am 9 years old. I love to play outside, ride my bike, roller blade, and I love to play minecraft. When I was four years old my mom noticed a few red spots on my skin, she knew right away what it was because my mom also has psoriasis.
I have times when I am really clear and you don't know that I have psoriasis. There are other times when my whole body is covered but I am really good at explaining to people what I have and I always tell them that I am not contagious.
This is my third year as an ambassador for Team NPF Walk Houston and I am so excited to be a part of this community. I love sharing with my friends and family so that they know about psoriasis too.
Please consider donating to my team page any amount will help us reach our goals. One day I hope there is a cure so that I never have to go to school with psoriasis on my body again, and no one else has to have psoriasis either.
